High-Temperature Testing & Sterilisation for Packaging Materials

The ZM-100 Inverted Pressure Sterilised Boiler is designed for the sterilisation and high-temperature testing of packaging materials, including adhesives and printing inks. It is widely used in the packaging, plastic film, food, and medical industries, as well as by inspection agencies and research laboratories.

This precision device ensures safe and effective sterilisation of samples, while its counter-pressure technology helps prevent deformation or rupture of packaging during cooling.

Applications

  • Sterilisation of packaging films and pouches

  • High-temperature testing of adhesives and inks

  • Material validation in food, medical, and research sectors

Key Features

  • Automatic operation: Temperature rise, holding, and timing are all controlled automatically.

  • Counter-pressure cooling system: Prevents bag rupture by balancing internal and external pressure during cooling.

  • Efficient heat transfer: Combines water shower and air cooling for fast and uniform temperature control.

  • Advanced safety controls: Monitors water level, temperature, and time with auto shut-off for over-temperature or low-water conditions.

  • Unique chamber design: Ensures thorough sterilisation with uniform temperature distribution.

  • Five-tier safety protection: Offers robust and reliable performance.

Counter-Pressure Cooling Explained

During post-sterilisation cooling, internal temperatures in sample bags often exceed those outside the tank. This temperature imbalance can create internal pressure that causes the packaging to rupture. The ZM-100 counter-pressure system introduces balancing air pressure during cooling, eliminating pressure differences and maintaining the integrity of the sample.
