The W413 2.0 Infrared Water Vapour Transmission Rate Tester stands as a sophisticated precision instrument, aligning with ASTM and GB standards and catering to market demands. Test Principle The W413 2.0 water vapour transmission rate analyser operates on the infrared method. It secures a pre-treated sample in the center of the test chamber, dividing it into high-humidity and low-humidity sections. Compressed air flows on one side of the film, while dry nitrogen (carrier gas) maintains a fixed rate on the opposite side. Due to the humidity gradient, water vapor permeates from the high-humidity side to the low-humidity side. The infrared sensor captures the water vapor passing through the sample, providing parameters such as water vapour permeability through the electrical signal output.
