Introducing the AUTO W812 Water Vapour Permeability Analyser (cup method), a cutting-edge solution crafted in accordance with ASTM E96 and GB/T 1037 standards. Test Principle: Employing the cup method, the AUTO W812 allows either desiccant (weight gain method) or water (weight loss method) to be placed in the sample cup. The sealed sample cup is then placed in the test box, where temperature, humidity, and wind speed are meticulously controlled. The resulting difference in humidity drives water vapor penetration through the sample, with regular weighing of the sample cup facilitating the calculation of performance parameters like water vapor transmission.

Remarks:

  1. Ensure a vibration-free and level test bench with no nearby vibration sources.
  2. Operate in a standard laboratory environment at a temperature of 23°±2.
  3. Power requirements: 220 V regulated power supply, one socket with three holes and three switches.
  4. Computer requirements: Standard configuration with Windows 10 and a nine-pin serial port.
  5. Use a muffle furnace or drying equipment with a temperature exceeding 500℃ for drying the desiccant.
  6. Drying dish is required for dehydrating and degassing all samples for 24 hours.
  7. First-grade distilled water (2 L bottled) is recommended.
