The Pullqit™ Anchor Test System is a robust and portable solution designed to measure the tensile strength of fixings, fasteners, and anchors embedded in concrete and other construction materials. It provides fast, reliable on-site verification for engineers, contractors, and inspectors performing safety and compliance testing.
Product Description
The Pullqit™ Anchor Test System is designed for testing anchors and fixings using a mechanical screw arrangement acting through a hydraulic load cell, which measures the applied load directly. Test results are displayed on a dial-type analog gauge, allowing operators to easily monitor applied force in real time.
A maximum load indicator ensures accurate readings, whether the anchor is tested to failure or used for load verification purposes.
Applications
The Pullqit™ system is suitable for testing a wide range of anchor types and fixing systems, including:
- Expansion anchors
- Chemical anchors
- Undercut anchors
- Mechanical and wedge anchors
- Frames, anchors and screw fixings
- Structural anchors
- Safety anchors for ladder restraints
Features & Benefits
- Two interchangeable gauges (25 kN and 9 kN) for maximum flexibility
- Built-in bubble levels for both horizontal and vertical alignment
- Maximum load indicator for testing to failure or verification testing
- Full range of adaptors for ANSI UNC and Metric fittings
- Special wedge-style adaptor for mechanical wedge anchors
- Self-correcting ball load system helps reduce shear forces
- Full mechanical load design eliminates hydraulic compression errors
- Portable, compact design for field testing and transport
Technical Overview
The Pullqit™ Anchor Test System is engineered to apply a controlled tensile force directly to the anchor or fixing point. Its ball joint pull disk design ensures the applied force remains in true tension, even if the anchor surface is uneven due to irregularities in installation or substrate conditions.
The system includes an alignment plate with dual 360° bubble levels, allowing quick setup and ensuring accurate vertical pull alignment. Adjustable thumb screws make fine leveling simple, while built-in magnets hold the pull assembly securely to the plate for easier handling between test locations.
The Pullqit™ can be used for both destructive testing (to failure) and non-destructive verification testing, allowing engineers to confirm bonding and load performance without unnecessary damage or rework.
