The Y310 2.0 Oxygen Permeability Analyser, employing the Coulometric Sensor Method, is meticulously crafted in adherence to standards like GB/T 19789 and ASTM D3985. Engineered for wide-range and high-efficiency oxygen transmission rate detection, this instrument caters to the assessment of high, medium, and low oxygen barrier materials. The Y310 2.0 finds applications in determining the oxygen permeability of plastic films, sheets, paper, and various packaging materials utilised in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products, and photovoltaic and electronic sectors.

Test Principle The Y310 2.0 Oxygen Permeability Analyser is designed based on the Coulometric Sensor Method. The pre-conditioned specimen is securely clamped in the test cell, with oxygen or air flowing on one side of the specimen and a stream of high-purity nitrogen on the other side. Oxygen molecules permeate through the specimen into the nitrogen side and are transported to the coulometric sensor. The sensor analyses the oxygen concentration and calculates the oxygen transmission rate.
