OhmCorr Resistivity meter to assess corrosion currents in concrete.
The OhmCorr™ is a reliable and easy-to-use device that assesses damaging corrosion currents in concrete by measuring concrete resistivity. It has two probes spaced 1.97" (5cm) apart which are placed in holes drilled to a depth of 3/8th" (8mm) and filled with conductive gel. The direct digital read-out of resistivity is displayed on the LCD when the control switch is activated.
The device is an economical and accurate alternative to surface measurements, as measuring from two small holes avoids the problems and errors of surface measurements. Additionally, when used in conjunction with the CorMap™ system, the OhmCorr™ can produce resistivity plots for further analysis.
The OhmCorr™ is an essential tool for assessing concrete resistivity and confirming readings made with either the CorMap™ system, making it an indispensable device for engineers and contractors in the field.
