Metallographic Cutting Machines - MICROMET Series
The MICROMET Series offers precision cutting solutions for metallographic samples, ensuring high-quality, reproducible cuts with minimal material loss and no sample damage, such as microfractures. These machines are available in three models:
- Automatic - Features fully automated controls via a front panel, with an electro-hydraulic system that monitors and displays cutting force for precise adjustments.
- Semi-Automatic - Uses adjustable weights and counterweights for smooth sample advancement.
- Manual - Operated manually through an external lever for sample advancement.
Key features include an adjustable grinding wheel speed (0 to 3000 rpm) and a transverse sample-holder arm, ensuring versatile cutting and thinning for various materials. The MICROMET is constructed from stainless steel and is corrosion-resistant, meeting the highest safety standards with features like low-voltage control (24 V), a transparent polycarbonate safety screen, a microswitch that halts operation when the cover is open, and an emergency stop button.

The MICROMET automatic model is designed for delicate sectioning of fragile and small samples. It offers fine feed control and a stainless steel body for durability.
MICROMET Manual and Semi-Automatic
These models are ideal for precise cutting of small and fragile samples. Both are constructed from stainless steel and provide excellent precision.
Standard Sample Holder Clamps
