Robust Construction for Demanding Applications
The Jaw Crushers feature a durable metal-alloy construction with an electrostatically painted finish. The jaw plates are manufactured from 16–18% chrome-manganese steel, while the wear plates are produced from 450 Brinell material for high wear resistance and extended service life.
A robust V-belt drive system transfers power from the motor to the crushing mechanism, while a central lubrication system simplifies maintenance of the moving components.
Adjustable Crushing Size
The jaw opening can be continuously adjusted from 0–15 mm, allowing operators to control the final particle size according to their sample preparation requirements. An external analogue display allows the operator to easily monitor both the zero point and jaw gap setting.
For suitable applications, approximately 75% of the crushed material can be reduced to 2 mm or smaller, supporting downstream laboratory analysis and sample preparation.
Safe, Practical Operation
Safety and ease of maintenance are incorporated throughout the design. The hinged feeding funnel helps prevent material rebound while allowing easy access for cleaning. A locking mechanism prevents accidental opening during operation, while a safety interlock immediately stops the machine if the lock is manually released.
The crusher body is designed to minimise dust escape during operation, with noise emissions of up to 85 dB, depending on the working environment.
An electronic-mechanical protection system automatically stops the crusher in situations such as material jamming or overheating, helping protect the machine and operator.
Easy Cleaning and Maintenance
The removable jaws provide convenient access for cleaning, maintenance and jaw replacement. A collection tray at the bottom of the crusher captures processed material for easy removal and transfer to the next stage of sample preparation.
