The AUTO GBM-D1 Intelligent Sealing Performance Tester employs a pressurisation method to evaluate the sealing strength and integrity of packaging materials, specifically for soft, semi-plastic, and full-plastic packaging used in food and pharmaceutical industries. With multiple test modes, it ensures a comprehensive assessment of packaging leak-tightness and integrity, adhering to ASTM, ISO, and GB standards. Our company provides matching accessories and services for various samples.

Our intelligent sealing performance tester includes the test machine and two (standard) jigs - the opening inflatable jig (unrestrained) and pinhole jig (unconstrained). Additionally, optional jigs can be purchased.

Test Principle The sample undergoes air tightness testing through pressurisation, leading to either burst or pressurisation to a specified level. Various test methods, including burst, leak, creep, and bubble tests, can be applied, with results expressed in terms of test pressure, holding time, package position, leak location, and more.

Test Methods

  1. Burst Test: Increases pressure until the package bursts (ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054, YY/T 0681.3, YY/T 0681.9).
  2. Leakage Test: Maintains preset pressure for a specified time, conducting pressure management and leak tests (ASTM F2095, ISO 11607-1).
  3. Creep Test: Applies constant pressure close to the burst limit for a set duration, evaluating sealing performance. Optional modes: creep and creep to failure (ASTM F1140, YY/T 0681.3).
  4. Bubble Test: Pressurises the package submerged in water to a predetermined level for a set time (ASTM F2096, YY/T 0681.5).
