The JSW-HWHS Series Constant Temperature and Humidity Test Chambers are designed to evaluate the performance and environmental resistance of electrical and electronic components, instrumentation, automotive electrical systems, materials and other products under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
Suitable for quality assurance, product development and research applications, these chambers provide adjustable temperature and humidity control for testing how products perform under different environmental conditions. They are suited to laboratories, manufacturers, universities, research institutes and other organisations requiring repeatable environmental testing.
Available in 150 L and 250 L capacities, the chambers feature a touchscreen controller, forced-air circulation, programmable control functions and data recording capabilities to support routine testing and performance evaluation.

Humidity deviation is specified by the manufacturer as ±3.0% RH above 75% RH. Confirm performance tolerances at other humidity settings when selecting the chamber for a specific test method.
Temperature and humidity control
The chamber uses forced-air circulation to distribute conditioned air throughout the working space. Integrated heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification systems work together to establish and maintain the selected environmental conditions.
Temperature regulation uses PID control with electric heating elements and solid-state switching. The cooling system uses a fully enclosed compressor, while built-in electric steam humidification and circulating water support humidity control.
The touchscreen controller displays temperature and relative humidity and provides PID self-tuning, data storage, communication functions and test-curve viewing. A built-in memory card is specified for approximately one year of recorded data, depending on operating conditions and recording settings.
Construction and practical features
The chamber features a cold-rolled steel exterior with a phosphated and electrostatically sprayed finish, a mirror-finish stainless-steel internal chamber and polyurethane foam insulation.
Additional features include:
- Single locking door with high-temperature-resistant silicone sealing
- Tempered-glass observation window
- Two internal shelf levels, each rated for a load of at least 10 kg
- 50 mm diameter test lead access port on the left side
- Four lockable castors
- Micro-printer supplied as standard
Safety and protection
The equipment incorporates multiple protection functions designed to help protect the chamber and test samples, including:
- Independent over-temperature protection
- Temperature and humidity upper/lower deviation alarms
- Audible and visual alarms
- Electrical leakage and circuit-breaker protection
- Heater short-circuit protection
- Compressor overload protection
- Electrical grounding protection
An independent over-temperature cut-out can be configured separately from the main temperature controller.

These chambers are not intended for testing or storing flammable, explosive or volatile substances, corrosive materials, biological samples, or samples that act as strong electromagnetic emission sources.
Warranty
One-year manufacturer's warranty, effective from the buyer's acceptance of the equipment. The manufacturer covers equipment faults attributable to the equipment itself during the warranty period, subject to its warranty terms. Repairs outside the warranty period may incur parts and service charges.
