The Gas Permeability Analyser AUTO N53/1 is developed based on the test principle of the differential pressure method, designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 1038, ISO 2556 and other standards. The distinctive drawer-type diaphragm test chamber enhances operational convenience. It is suitable for gas permeability testing of films, sheets, paper, packaging and related materials in the fields of food, medicine, medical equipment, daily chemicals, photovoltaic electronics, etc. The instrument caters to a wide range of high, medium, and low gas barrier materials, ensuring high-efficiency gas transmission rate detection.

Test Principle The AUTO N53/1 gas permeability tester employs the differential pressure method. The processed sample is positioned between the upper and lower chambers. A vacuum pump evacuates the entire gas circuit system, followed by the introduction of an atmospheric pressure experimental gas to the upper chamber, creating a constant pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers. Under the influence of the pressure gradient, gas permeates from the upper cavity to the lower cavity through the film. The system calculates barrier performance parameters, including gas permeability, based on the pressure change in the lower cavity.
