Auto-Shrink Autogenous Shrinkage Testing System
Accurate, Long-Term Measurement of Autogenous Strain in Cement-Based Materials
The Auto-Shrink AS-1100 is a high-precision digital dilatometer designed to measure unrestrained autogenous shrinkage in cement paste or mortar cured under sealed conditions. This shrinkage, caused by internal chemical reactions without moisture exchange, is a critical property in modern cement research and quality assurance.
The system features a durable Invar steel support frame and reference bar to minimise thermal expansion and maintain measurement accuracy over time. A specially designed corrugated plastic mould ensures specimens are protected from moisture loss while allowing them to shrink freely.
Ideal for long-term studies, Auto-Shrink enables you to monitor multiple specimens simultaneously, with data collection possible over weeks, months, or even years.
