2000kN 4 Column Concrete Test Press
It is designed for testing both low and high strength concrete samples. Compressive strength test can be performed on cube samples of 100x100x100 mm, 150x150x150 mm, 200x200x200 mm and cylindrical concrete samples of 160x320 - 150x300 - 100x200 and 100x100 mm in accordance with TS EN 12390-3 standard. In addition, it has been designed in such a way that it can perform flexural strength tests on prism shaped concrete samples and compressive strength on core and cement samples with additional apparatus when required. 50x50 mm cube cement samples can be tested according to ASTM C109 and 40x40x160 mm prism samples can be tested according to EN 196 by using appropriate apparatus when the press system is required.
The body has a 4-column rigid structure. Columns are screwed independently from the upper and foot parts of the body. There are security doors on the front, side and back of the device. The upper and lower parts of the body are made of hard material and all support surfaces are mechanically machined. The compact body consists of lower and upper plates. Hardened plates are machined on both sides and ground on both sides. The upper press plate has a movable head system. The top plate is spherical, allowing up to three degrees of inclination for homogeneous loading.
It is supplied with rust-proof intermediate distance blocks that are used for height adjustment for samples of different sizes and do not allow a test gap of more than 40 mm. For safety purposes, the length of the piston is limited by the safety key. The piston is protected by steel sheet against corrosion. Piston travel distance is at least 50 mm. Piston is equipped with a limit-switch device for safety.
