The W203 2.0 Water Vapour Permeability Analyser, crafted based on the electrolytic sensor method, is meticulously developed to adhere to GB/T 21529, ISO15106-3 standards. This analyser is tailored for assessing the water vapour transmission performance of films, sheets, papers and various materials across diverse industries such as food, medicine, medical equipment, daily chemicals and photovoltaic electronics. Test Principle The W203 2.0 Water Vapour Permeability Analyser operates on the electrolytic method. It secures a pre-treated sample in the centre of the test chamber, dividing it into high humidity and low humidity sides. Compressed air flows on one side of the film, while dry nitrogen (carrier gas) maintains a fixed flow rate on the other side. Due to the humidity gradient, water vapour permeates from the high-humidity side to the low-humidity side. The electrolytic sensor captures the water vapour passing through the sample, providing parameters such as water vapour transmittance through the electrical signal output.
